What is school failure?

It is considered school failure when a student can not reach the level of expected average performance for their age and pedagogical level. Currently, Spain is the second country in the European Union in school failure, with a rate of 19% of young people between 18 and 24 who have left the education system prematurely, only surpassed by Malta.

In our opinion, the causes of this high rate should not be sought only in the quality of our education system, but also in the lack of attention that is usually paid to risk behaviors in children and teenagers, among which the use of drugs like alcohol or cannabis derivatives (joints).
