XX Clinical evaluation and debate day 2018: “Parents and teenagers: towards a meeting point”

As every year, and reaching its twentieth edition, from Amalgama7 and the Portal Foundation, to support young people affected by dual disorders and their families, we organized the clinical day of evaluation and debate, titled “Parents and adolescent children: towards a meeting point”.

It is a day of transversal character where boys and girls attended, their family members, members of the health care teams of Amalgama7 and other experts in the field of children and teenagers meet.

In the morning we met in the Pavelló de Suècia of Berga (Barcelona) to share data and reflections, based on the therapeutic and educative intervention about teenagers and young people we serve today and the follow-up to those we registered two years ago.

One of the fundamental axes of the Conference is structured at lunchtime in the context of simultaneous tables, where attendees actively participate in a debate based on current issues that affect teenagers, young people and their families, with the objective to propose some strategies that can contribute to the improvement of communication between parents and children. From this brainstorming, we will have the privilege of incorporating concerns, reflections, and proposals that will allow us to improve preventive, educational and assistance strategies.

Once finished, and in the last space of the Day, we will live the most anticipated moment: the delivery of the high clinics and of different recognitions to residents of the Amalgama7 therapeutic and educative schools.

The conference will take place on Saturday, November 24th, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. For further information: Program of the Day
