On February, residents and academic team of the Therapeutic and Educative School CTE Valldaura will make an outing to visit the castle of Bagà (Berguedà, Barcelona).
It is a building documented for the first time in 949. It was originally the residence of the lords of Pinós, hence its name. In addition, we will visit the Torre de la Portella, as well as some remains of the old wall. Inside the castle we can see the mural paintings from the seventeenth to the nineteenth centuries that decorate the different rooms.
The output, which is part of the academic activities, will help the boys and girls to better understand the Catalan medieval period, while at the same time grasping the spectacular nature of their paintings.
