During the second half of August we have visited the small town of Siurana, located in the Priorat region (Tarragona), within the municipality of Cornudella de Montsant.
Once there we could enjoy the main points of interest of the place: the church of Santa María de Siurana (church built between the XII and XIII centuries), the Arab Castle (the last Saracen redoubt that resisted until the end of the reconquest), and contemplate the landscape offered by the privileged situation of Siurana.
One of these points is the Salt de la Reina Mora, a cliff that have helped the guide to explain the legend of Abdelazia, an Arab woman who, being trapped by the Christians, threw herself with her horse for fear of being captured.
Then, we have carried out an activity of climbing taking advantage of the landscape of the surroundings of the town.
