Solidarity Theatre in favour of the Amdalai project, a Portal Private Foundation programm

On Saturday, April 1st 2017, at 18 h, Nou Horitzó theatre group represented David Plana’s work “¡Qué vida!”, directed by Carles Oliveras, in the Centre de Cultura Popular La Violeta de Gràcia (Barcelona). The collection of this representation went to the Amdalai project.

The Amdalai project, young people in cooperation is a solidarity program driven by the Portal Foundation, support for boys and girls with dual disorders and their families, and starring teenagers and young people who have followed a residential treatment at therapeutic schools of Amalgama7, Therapeutic and educative attention for teenagers, young people and their families.

With this project, these young people have offered to raise resources for the small town of Amdalai (Gambia), deliver, themselves, the collected material and live firsthand the reality of children and teenagers in this corner of West Africa.

One of the main objectives of the project Amdalai is involved in a charity project and implement the tools and achieved therapeutic strategies in the health care process, which has promoted, among others, work on values such as solidarity, respect, cooperation, teamwork, empathy…
