II Party for the Earth 2018

The CTE Can Ros therapeutic and educative School organizes the 2nd Party for the Earth 2018 on March 24th.

Taking advantage of the magnificent natural environment and the beginning of spring, the month of March is organized a thematic conference on the environment, sustainability and the role of nature in our society and our lives. Throughout this month, informative, formative and socio-educative sessions are held.

During the week from 5th to the 11th, the boys and girls resident have worked, jointly in the academic and socio-educative environment, aspects related to the environment and sustainable development. Among others, they have carried out a research project called “Let’s investigate the environment”, in which each unit of coexistence has worked on factors that affect the environment to subsequently make an oral presentation. The photo contest “The environment in an image” has also been organized, where each resident has taken a photograph with the objective of capturing the natural environment of the Can Ros school.

On March 12, “The Gymkhana for the earth” was scheduled, an activity that ended with a tree planting by residents in the area of the school gardens.

The closing of this Day will take place on March 24, the central day of the Earth Festival, in which residents, families and care teams of Amalgama7 will enjoy a splendid calçotada and share with families the activities carried out during this month. After the desserts, we will proceed to the Gala of the Awards of the Feast of the Earth, in 3 categories:

• Photography award “The environment in an image”.
• Award for the best exhibition of the activity “We investigate the environment”.
• Award for the best involvement and participation in “The Gymkhana for the earth”.
