Ambulatory Care Programs

In the outpatient clinics of Amalgama7, in Barcelona and Madrid, we have three outpatient care programs aimed at the different stages of the patient’s therapeutic process, from the beginning of the demand for care to the follow-up of therapeutic discharge:

  • Diagnostic Guidance Program (POD)

  • Outpatient Treatment Program (PTA)

  • Outpatient Follow-up Program (PSA)

Diagnostic Guidance Program (POD)

This is a set of visits and initial tests aimed at preparing a diagnosis and defining an Individualized Therapeutic Plan (ITP) for the person served.

This program is structured in 11 sessions that alternate individual and joint visits with family members and the patient, psychometric tests and other complementary examinations, such as urine tests if necessary, in a period of 1 month and a half, and ends with a joint visit where a report of diagnostic return and indication of treatment is delivered.

Outpatient Treatment Program (PTA)

We offer a treatment program consisting of 15 visits of psychological and psychiatric care for both the patient and the family. Prior to the treatment program, we may have conducted a Diagnostic Guidance Program.

The objective of the Outpatient treatment program (PTA) is, among others, to mark a temporary treatment, establishing together with the family and the patient the therapeutic objectives to work during the sessions.

At the end of the program, a progress report of the treatment with follow-up indication is delivered. The 15 sessions are carried out in a period of approximately 3 months.

Outpatient Follow-up Program (PSA)

From our outpatient clinics, we offer a follow-up program of 12 visits also psychological and psychiatric care (if applicable) to parents and patient, the timing of visits is weekly, but can be spaced in time depending on of the evolution of the patient. It is carried out, above all, a therapeutic intervention focused on the family and the patient.

At the end of the PSA a therapeutic discharge report is delivered or it is indicated to continue with the follow-up.
