Amalgama-7 comprises an amply experienced interdisciplinary team made up of more than 80 professionals including physicians, psychologists, psychiatrist, primary and secondary school teachers, social workers, childcare workers, nurses, monitors and administrative staff.
General management


The management structure is as follows:
  • Montserrat Magrané Delfin
    Started her career in 1984 at the Barcelona Provincial Council Psychopedagogical Centre. From 1986 to 1997 she served on the care staff of the Provincial Council’s Prevention, Guidance and Therapy Service for drug users. She went on to become a member of the European Commission, conducting several comparative and multifactorial studies on risk behaviours in young adults and teenagers. She is coauthor ofof specialist publications and cofounder of Amalgama-7. At present she is in charge of management and care coordination of the outpatient consultation centre.
  • Jordi Royo i Isach
    Started his career in 1981 at the Barcelona Provincial Council Prevention, Guidance and Therapy Service for drug users. From 1984 to 2000 he held management posts at various Barcelona Provincial Council health centres specialising in the care of young adults and teenagers. He has taken part in and led European-level teams and comparative studies on risk behaviours and dual diagnoses in young adults and teenagers. He is author and coauthor of numerous specialist publications, and has organised travelling preventive exhibitions. Since 2000 to 2010 he has been coordinator of the municipal drug prevention programme of Badalona Town Council. At present he is in charge of clinical management at Amalgama-7 and he is vice-president of the Portal Private Foundation.
  • Anna Velilla Calvo
    Started her career in 1983 at the Sant Jordi Surgical Centre. She went on to join the care staff of the Barcelona Provincial Council Prevention, Guidance and Therapy Service for drug users. Complementary to this, she was involved in the design and development of European programmes aimed at the social and vocational reintegration of young people with special difficulties.. She is coauthor of specialist publications on the care of young adults and teenagers and cofounder of Amalgama-7. She has been in charge of management and coordination with healthcare and educational centres since 1998.
