Social awareness-raising
Some of the disorders and many of the risk behaviours of teenagers and young adults are relatively new and are closely related to the welfare society.
Some of these disorders lead to patterns of dual diagnosis. We understand that this emerging pathology is unknown to society as a whole and especially to the affected families. In this context, at Amalgama-7 we take steps towards making this condition better known and thus contributing to its prevention and treatment.
Media
At Amalgama-7 we attend to the media’s requests for information and/or participation, when we consider that it will contribute towards the public awareness, prevention and care of young people who engage in risk behaviours and their families. Annual evaluation and debate day
Every year around Christmas, families, friends, the staff of Amalgama-7 and other professionals from various fields get together to exchange and share experiences and knowledge.
We at Amalgama-7 provide information and reflections on the young adults and teenagers currently in our care and the follow-up of those who completed their treatment two years ago. At the same time we benefit from the contributions of the other participants, taking note of their concerns, reflections and proposals to help us improve our preventive, educational and care strategies.
