Amalgama-7 makes a specific diagnosis in each case and proposes a personalized therapeutic plan to be carried out either in the context of the outpatient consultation centre or at one of our residential facilities.

 

Introduction and first information visit

Addressed primarily to the parents and other relatives of the teenager or young adult concerned. The aim is to get to know the peculiarities of the case and to assess the appropriateness or otherwise of receiving treatment through Amalgama-7.

This visit is free.

 

First visit

Likewise addressed to parents and other relatives. The aim is to initiate the diagnostic examination and design an individualized treatment plan.

 

Diagnostic visits

Addressed to the boy or girl concerned and, if appropriate, parents and other relatives, with the aim of making a diagnosis and deciding on an individualized therapeutic plan on an outpatient and/or residential basis.

 

Therapeutic intervention

Depending on the diagnosis and the therapeutic plan set forth, individual (and, if appropriate, group) care is programmed both for the teenager or young adult receiving treatment and for his or her family.

 

Educational and therapeutic groups

Addressed primarily to the parents and other relatives of teenagers who are at the inpatient facilities. The aim is to provided them a weekly report on biopsychosocial and educational evolution of their boys and girls. 

 

Parent School

Addressed to the parents and other relatives of teenagers and young adults, whether or not they are following treatment at Amalgama-7. It consists of a course of 40 class hours with both theoretical and practical content, with the title "Family strategies to improve communication between parents and children".

This course is free for those parents and other relatives who have a child following treatment on a residential basis at Amalgama-7.
