Summer Internship 2018
Amalgama7, therapeutic and educative attention for teenagers, young people and their families, with more than 20 years of experience, has developed a specialized device —the therapeutic and educative school— for teenagers and young people with risk behaviors, among which are absenteeism, the lack of interest in the school, the inappropriate behaviors that lead the student to school failure.
Amalgama7 offers all its experience in the therapeutic classroom to those families concerned, among others, by the low performance of their children in school, preparing them to successfully pass the exams in September, in the Summer Internship. This classroom includes:
- Daily classes during the summer months, with a personalized schedule of the subjects that the student must recover.
- Therapeutic support by our team of psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers… to redirect inappropriate behaviors of the young person in the classroom and in the family environment, and which may be related to poor performance in school.
- Complementing the classroom, leisure activities full of educative, cultural and sports content are offered, which the student will be able to enjoy as long as it meets the academic objectives.
This program is structured into thematic weeks and fortnights that alternate activities inside and outside the classroom. We advance a sample:
- Week from June 26th to July 1st, 2018: Mediterranean Games of Tarragona 2018.
- First half of July: Mountain Sports.
- Second half of July: the Sea and its importance in the territory.
- First half of August: the History of Cinema.
- Second half of August: Castles and castells (human towers).
- Week from August 27th to September 2nd: commemoration of the centenary of the end of the First World War and the End of Summer Party 2018.
