XIX Clinical evaluation and debate day 2017: “Parents and teenagers: towards a meeting point”

As every year, from Amalgama7 and the Portal Foundation, to support young people affected by dual disorders and their families, we organized the Clinical day of evaluation and debate, which this year reaches its nineteenth edition.

Entitled “Parents and teenagers: towards a meeting point”, it is a day of interdisciplinary character with an educative and therapeutic objective, where family members of boys and girls attended, members of the health care teams of Amalgama7 meet and other experts in the field of children and teenagers.

In the morning we met in the Pavelló de Suècia of Berga (Barcelona) to share data and reflections, based on the work done, about the teenagers and young people we serve today and the follow-up to those we registered two years ago.

One of the fundamental axes of the Day is structured at lunchtime in the context of simultaneous tables, where attendees actively participate in a debate based on current issues that affect teenagers, young people and their families, with the objective to propose some strategies that can contribute to the improvement of communication between parents and children. From this brainstorming, we will have the privilege of incorporating concerns, reflections, and proposals that will allow us to improve preventive, educative and assistance strategies.

Once finished, and in the last space of the Day, we will live the most anticipated moment: the delivery of the clinical discharges and different recognitions to residents of the Amalgama7 therapeutic and educative schools.

If you want to participate, you can contact the Amalgama7 Reception: tel. 932 374 122 (Eva Carcaño, Pepa Senmartí).

The conference will take place on Saturday, November 25th 2017, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. More information: program of the Day
