Educational activity
Teenager’s educational activity is an essential part of their own psychotherapeutic process.
Given that most of the teenagers and young adults receiving treatment are school age, at Amalgama-7 we endeavour to ensure that, complementarily and in as many cases as possible, they do not drop out of their studies, but continue them, take them up again or start new ones, as an essential part of their own psychotherapeutic process
There are various possibilities in this respect, depending on the characteristics of each case.. At present, the boys and girls receiving treatment take compulsory secondary education, optional secondary education (sixth form), different types of vocational training, university studies, and in some cases, other studies such as music or art.
In all cases, the Amalgama-7 teaching staff give and/or supervise the classes attended by the young people receiving treatment and carry out pedagogical coordination tasks.
