Counselling activities: schools and other institutions
For various institutions working with teenagers and young adults, schools and health services, we provide ongoing counselling.
One of the activities carried out by Amalgama-7 is counselling for the management staff of various institutions that are in contact with teenagers and young adults for educational and/or care purposes. The main tasks done in this field to date are:
Counselling for schools
We design prevention programmes for schools on risk behaviours in young adults and teenagers with a view to holding courses and workshops aimed at
parents, teachers and pupils in secondary education.
Most notably we have provided school counselling services for the
Collserola Foundation and the
Garbí Schools Foundation.
Counselling for health services
We offer this service to management staff of both public and private health centres that deal mainly with teenagers and young adults. Thus, in addition to our range of workshops, courses and seminars, we offer counselling to management staff with the aim of enabling these centres to develop their own care units for teenagers and young adults who engage in risk behaviours.
Portal Private Foundation
The
Portal Private Foundation is a non-profit association that seeks to provide support for boys and girls with dual diagnoses and their families.
The Foundation, made up essentially of parents, family and friends, carries out several activities, including promoting an urban residential centre (Therapy and Education Centre - home with support) where Amalgama-7 is in charge of the technical and professional management. Amalgama-7 also provides counselling for the Governing Board of the Foundation.
